Wild About You - C4C #316

Hi, everyone, thanks for joining me for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges! This will be the last challenge of 2015—we’ll be taking the rest of the year off to spend time with friends and family, but we’ll be back the first Saturday in January with a brand new challenge! Today’s challenge is to use a favorite sketch from this year—I LOVED November’s sketch so that’s what I used.

I started with a Grout Gray card stock base, cut some Ranger Watercolor paper with Blueprints 20 Die-namics, stamped the just released Primitive Chevron Background for the triangle element with Black Licorice hybrid ink, then did a watercolor wash with Peerless watercolors, tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. The sentiment strip was cut from Steel Gray card stock with Blueprints 2 Die-namics and the sentiment from Sweet Safari was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and popped it up, as well.

Next I cut Stitched Mini Scallop Oval STAX Die-namics from more Ranger watercolor paper, did a wash on it, and popped it up. My scene consists of Sweet Safari Stamp Set and Sweet Safari Die-namics, stamped and colored with Copic markers, Leafy Greenery Die-namics, and a sun and cloud. I finished off with some enamel dots.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!
THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C316.
Thanks for stopping by today—see you soon!
